SCANDAL IN THE SINNER FAMILY BEFORE THE FINAL WITH CARLOS: Sinner’s father pressures him to sign a $300 advertising contract, Sinner responds with only 11 words and then goes into silence – his father immediately breaks off the contact, declares that he will go to the final and “acts as if he himself has this son”.

Hours before playing the most important match of his career against Carlos Alcaraz, Jakob Sieger finds himself facing not only sporting pressure, but also an emotional storm that is shaking his personal life: an explosive conflict with his own father.

According to sources close to the Italian player, the family outburst took place the night before the match, in a private hotel in Lodra, where the Sier family was staying to accompany him. It all began with a seemingly casual conversation: Sier’s father, Joha, presented him with an endorsement contract for a local brand of South Tyrolean agricultural products, worth just $300.

Although the sum seemed significant for an athlete of his caliber, what bothered the young theorist was the amount, namely the fact that his father insisted he sign without consulting his legal team or considering his public image. “It’s a family thing,” the father reportedly said. “Do it for me.”

Japnik, visibly annoyed, would have limited himself to replying in these brief words:  “I play tea, but I also sign documents for family commitments.”  Then, without adding anything else, he got up and left the room.

The father, according to witnesses, remained motionless for a few seconds before making a shocking statement: “I will not attend the match. As of today, I have a son.” And he stopped speaking. The reserved seat in the family box remained empty, while the cameras wondered about his seat.

The news spread like wildfire on social media and in Italian media, where Sier’s father had already been the subject of controversy. This is the first time he has been accused of trying to manage the young thespian’s career as if it were a family business, seeking to control every aspect, from sporting decisions to commercial deals.

Sier’s professional team, led by manager Riccardo Piatti, has avoided making any official statements, but it is known that they are working hard to protect the player’s emotional stability before facing Alcaraz. “He’s concentrated, but it’s easy,” said a team member who asked to remain silent. “His family has always been a silent burden.”

Italian fans are divided. Some defended Jakob for prioritizing his independence and safeguarding his career, while others accused him of neglecting the gratitude of his father, who supported him through the most difficult stages of his sporting journey.

But the truth is that the moment could be more delicate. Facing Carlos Alcaraz in a historic battle, with family controversies simmering at the same time, transforms this fight into much more than a simple fight for a title. It is an internal, emotional, and profound struggle, where the game is not just a trophy, but ideology, autonomy, and the right to decide one’s own destiny.

We’ll have to see how Sienna reacts on the pitch. But one thing is clear: whatever happens in the end, this episode will mark a turning point in his personal life. And perhaps, in his career.
