Bill Barr appeared before the House Oversight Committee this week and firmly denied any connection between Donald Trump and the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein. The former attorney general stated under oath that he had seen no information implicating Trump in any wrongdoing.

Barr clarified that during his time at the Department of Justice, there was never a single piece of credible evidence linking Trump to Epstein. His testimony directly undercuts years of left-wing speculation that was never based on facts.

He further noted that if such evidence had existed, the Biden DOJ would have made sure it leaked to the press long ago. This remark drew attention to the politicization of the Department under Biden, where leaks are routinely used as political weapons.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer responded by issuing a subpoena that compels the DOJ to release Epstein-related documents. The agency is expected to begin turning over records to Congress on August 18.

Documents will be redacted only where necessary to protect ongoing investigations or the identities of victims. This development is seen as a major step toward long overdue transparency.

For years, Democrats and their media allies peddled theories tying Trump to Epstein. Those accusations were based on nothing more than innuendo and partisanship, and Barr’s testimony has now exposed the entire charade.

Even with this testimony, liberal media outlets have mostly refused to report on it. Their silence is telling. They never cared about justice. They only cared about damaging Trump.
