Right-wing activist and commentator Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck at an event at a Utah university on Wednesday.
More than 3,000 people were attending the outdoor event at the time Kirk was shot.
Footage of the attack shows Kirk sitting under a tent and arguing back and forth about mass shootings before a bullet hits the side of his neck and blood begins gushing out.
Onlookers screamed and fled the scene.
In the hours following Kirk’s death, many of his friends mourned him online, including Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, who leaked his final message.
Others are trying to piece it all together in published videos.
In several videos, a single bullet can be seen ricocheting off Charlie Kirk’s bulletproof vest and hitting the side of his neck, likely killing him instantly.
